From the Prefect:

Folks, We have lost our field and are now looking for another site to fly from. Since we have always flown on crop land we have never been able to launch during the summer so we have several months to locate a new site. We need atleast 200 acres with no structures and few if any trees. If any of our flyers knows anyone who might have a field that could be used please contact me at 740-936-0295.

TMO was formed several years ago and is registered as Prefecture #31 with the Tripoli Rocketry Association. The club consists of members from all over the midwest to include Ohio, Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky and Pennsylvania. The reason so many people frequent our launches is because we are one of only a couple clubs in the region that has an "M" class field available. This tends to draw rocketeers of all types, to include HPR, LMR and model rocketry. Whether your an avid rocketeer, a weekend flier or just a spectator, you are guaranteed a good show.

Launches are held at our field at Michael Farms in Urbana Ohio. With the advent of our new location, TMO has become one of the biggest, baddest and best launch locations in the midwest with unheard of waivers and a field that can support no less than "N" Impulse launches.

So whether you're a BAR, an old timer or just interested in seeing some amazing launches, take some time and visit us during a launch window. You will find that midwest hospitality just can't be beat. Looking forward to seeing you at our next launch.
